Kelly Khumalo Reportedly Spurns Idols SA Offer For Stand Up South Africa.
“Dance Comigo” singer, Kelly Khumalo has turned down an offer to take up a role as a judge on reality TV show Idols SA and instead taken up another Job offer.
Somizi had reportedly taken a break from the judging panel to take care of his personal issues. He’d been accused by his estranged husband Mohale Motaung of assault, among other things.
This provoked his exit from the panel, leading Mzansi to throw in names like Kelly Khumalo, Phat Joe and several others as possible replacements. But the show organizers had stated back then that they’d be inviting guest judges now and then.
Kelly Khumalo reportedly did not entertain an offer from Mzansi Magic, organizers of Idols SA, because she was already a judge on SABC 2’s reality show, Stand Up South Africa, in which families would compete for a grand price of R100, 000.
