Maggz’s Startling Claims About Bongani Fassie.
Mzansi musician Maggz claimed that he almost landeed in jail because of Bongani, the only surviving son of the late pop icon Brenda Fassie.
Maggz was speaking to MacG and his pals on the set of Podcast and Chill With MacG when he made the revelation. Asked about his relationship with Bongani, he didn’t hesitate making it clear they’re beefing though they used to be partners in the music industry.
He remembered Bongani calling him one day to help him move his things and he had gone to help him in good faith. But then the music producer Lance Stehr had popped on the scene and asked “why the hell they trying to move his shit”.
The case was taken to court and Maggz claimed he would be going to court for two years and would have spent about five years in jail.
At the moment, he’s made it known he doesn’t want to have anything to do with Bongani.
Incidentally, Bongani had accused Lance of introducing him to cocaine. A furious Lance Stehr had sued Bongani as well as Moja Love, the broadcaster of the show Finding Bongani.
