Makwa Warns Nota Baloyi.
Music producer Makwa was upset that Nota should make reference to him in every interview. He called her out as a controversial culture critic and music executive.
In a new tweet, Makwa who had once worked with Nota pondered when Nota would quit mentioning his name. He additionally asked why the entirety of Nota’s interviews depended on him and urged Nota to stop.

Makwa was reacting to Nota’s Interview appearance on The Rea and Blvck Steph Podcast on the Everything SA Music YouTube channel during which the controversial culture critic had mentioned Nota’s name.
Nota and Makwa used to be good accomplices at Rap Lyf, a record label that also has Kwesta as one of the executives. Makwa and Nota fell out, with Nota stating as recently as May 2021 that Makwa was an irresponsible father who wouldn’t take care of his kids.
From the new interview, it is clear that Nota isn’t finished tossing verbal injuries towards Makwa.
Nevertheless, how long until they embrace harmony once more?
