Young Lady Raped And Stabbed To Death In Bizana, Eastern Cape
A young lady has been raped and stabbed to death in Bizana, Eastern Cape, South Africa, according to a Twitter user identified as Izwelethu.
According to her, the rape victim was a 23-year-old lady called Asiphe Mdodana. She had reportedly gone missing for a few hours last Friday.
Worried, Izwelethu’s uncle had gone looking for Asiphe, whom he found much later in a backroom in Bizana, raped and stabbed to death.
She alleged that the man who had murdered Asiphe was on the run. The man, whom she identified as Lebohang, according to her, had arrived at the village three days prior to the incident. He’s said to be dark in complexion, have a mohawk, and speaks Sesotho. He’s also said to have a tattoo.
Her post elicited waves of sympathy and outrage in equal measure, with some Twitter users asking when the violence will end and others describing the rapist and murderer as evil.

The man who did this is on the run. We don’t have much information about him. He got to the village 3 days prior to the incident. His said his Lebohang, he speaks Sesotho, but no one knows his surname. He’s dark in complexion, has a mohawk and has a 2$6 tattoo. That’s all we know pic.twitter.com/qj43Hq1kAo

Definitely not in this country. Not any time soon anyways. There are less than 10 million South Africans on Twitter. Many of those aren’t even active, they just have an account. Then add data costs as another barrier. Spaces will grow, but they won’t replace radio. https://t.co/9Y6NzzBpJD
