Zandile Msutwana Plays Funeka In Mzansi Magic’s “Grootboom And Sons”
The Exciting Mzansi Magic’s new drama series, Grootboom and Sons, has sparked the interest of many, including, of course, the woman who played the lead role in the flick: Zandile Msutwana.
Although she isn’t so new to the acting scene, but her character in Grootboom and Sons rings so differently – totally different from her person and the roles she had taken on previously.
In Zandile Msutwana words, Grootboom and Sons is a Xhosa show with a mostly Xhosa cast. The story takes viewers into the world of a funeral parlor owner, who at his death leaves his business for his younger daughter, Vuyo, to run.
According to the story, the older daughter Funeka, who, true to her name, loves fun and a good time, leaves home to start her own business, a cosmetics brand but she ran back home to join the family business after getting into trouble with some hoodlums.
Older than Vuyo still, Funeka is young at heart, stylish and manipulative. According to Zandile Msutwana, she loves the role because it is more challenging
Zandile Msutwana might be chuffed about her role in the flick, but some viewers don’t think much of it. In fact, some of them are already calling for Grootboom and Sons to be canceled.
